高升村属潮安区归湖镇，地处镇区东北约18公里。它东边与凤凰镇相接，西边挨着高原村，南边连东明村，北边与高峰村和凤凰镇接壤。村下有石壁头、桔树坑等6个自然村，2019年户籍人口391人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名是公社化时期取定的，取义于高处山地上有灯火升起。清康熙年间起，文姓与陈姓的村民陆续从凤凰镇下埔一带迁来。[1]

土地革命时期，这里有过农会，也建立过苏维埃政权。到解放战争时期，韩江支队第十一团的司令部曾设于此，村里仍留有军需处、修械所的旧址。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2009年，户籍人口为359人；到2019年，增至391人。[1]

经济[edit]

茶叶是村里的主打产业，橄榄、青梅也有种植。2021年，村子入选省级「一村一品」茶叶专业村。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年，村子获评「广东省森林乡村」。村内有硬底化的村道。[1]
