山犁畲族村在潮安区归湖镇北部，靠近凤凰山南麓。它东面与大坪村为邻，南面紧接溪美村，西面与碗窑村相毗，北面以万峰林场的铁胪坪村为界。村域3.4平方千米，截至2019年底户籍人口345人，居民有畲族和汉族。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子处在凤凰山的南坡山区，境内的大莞山海拔1100米。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子是清康熙年间开辟的，因周边盛产山犁树，村名由此而来。雷姓畲族在清朝中期迁来，黄姓汉族则在清同治年间定居于此。[1]
1993年，村子获评「潮州市解放战争游击根据地」。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村民以畲族和汉族为主。日常通行的是属闽南语系的潮汕方言，畲族村民同时使用畲族方言。[1]
经济[edit]
农业为主，种水稻、橄榄和南姜。村中山泉水质适宜酿酒。[1]
文化[edit]
村里的畲族招兵节是特色民俗，每3至5年在冬至前后举行一次。村内有畲族民俗馆，也有古树公园。[1]
