碗窑畲族村是潮安区归湖镇下辖的畲族村，在旧乡政府西南面约6公里处，万峰林场的公路横贯全村。它西面接赤凤镇的杉坪和黄山坑，南面与溪美村相隔，北面与万峰林场交界。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，此地属群峰大队。1974年改称碗窑管区，1984年撤社改区后设为「碗窑畲族乡」，1999年改称碗窑畲族村民委员会，名称沿用至今。[1]

人口民族[edit]

村中的碗窑村民为畲族，姓蓝。他们在明朝中期从归湖陈吊王寨山麓的下坝迁来定居。[1]

地名由来[edit]

相传，村里的祖先在建村后建窑烧碗，发展陶瓷生产，因此得名碗窑。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年12月，碗窑畲族村入选第一批国家森林乡村名单。2026年1月，它获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
