绿竹村位于潮安区归湖镇的西面，靠着韩江西岸，离镇政府约2公里。村域面积2.15平方公里，设3个村民小组。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地在清顺治年间开村，姓林的始祖自福建蒲田迁来，此后黄、刘、郑等姓也陆续迁入。[1]
1958年，此地归河西大队；1978年曾称绿竹大队；1999年改设村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里经济靠种植业，水稻、橄榄是主要作物。县道枫韩线开通后，村道与主干道相接，出行更便利。[1]
2020年，绿竹村成为首批广东省「一村一品」橄榄专业村之一，今后仍将继续发展橄榄特色种植。[1]
文化[edit]
2023年，村子获评「广东省卫生村」。[1]
