狮峰村是潮安区归湖镇下辖的行政村，位于镇驻地东北约3华里处。它东面与塘埔村为邻，南面与金光村接壤，西面连着溪口村，北面依靠山背的月潭。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子成于明代，最早可追溯到1465年；1999年，它改设狮峰村民委员会，此名一直用到今天。[1]
姓氏宗族[edit]
狮头的李姓始祖天乙公，于明成化二十一年（1485年）自福建蒲田迁来。埔仔住有李、蔡、吴三姓：蔡姓始祖茂林公于明崇祯八年（1635年）来自福建济阳郡；吴姓分为顶吴、下吴，其始祖是月潭始祖的长子和四子，于明万历十三年（1585年）迁来。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中有明代建筑「南宁县正堂」的厅堂一座，还有清代的「净湖古庙」。村里另有一处风景区「在东梅林」。[1]
文化[edit]
广东省文化和旅游厅在2019年9月把狮峰列为首批「广东省文化和旅游特色村」。在2020年「民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位名单中，本村于2020年12月入列。2022年10月，狮峰村获得「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」的命名。[1]
