归湖镇是广东省潮州市潮安区北部的山区镇，濒临韩江，东与文祠镇、凤凰镇相接，西邻赤凤镇和万峰林场。镇政府驻葫芦圩。2002年，原归湖镇与原凤南镇撤并组建为现在的镇，截至2020年6月辖2个社区、32个行政村。2013年潮安县撤县设区后，归潮安区管辖。山地占镇域大部分，农业以橄榄等果树为主。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
此地在旧时属海阳县，名为登荣都。1914年，它归入潮安县，设登荣区。1938年登荣区改称登荣乡，其下分出上、中、下荣乡。解放初期，此地曾与意溪并为一区，归第三区管辖；两年后，部分村庄又被划入十四区与十五区。[3]
1954年3月撤区并乡，原有18个小村合为归湖、仙洋、凤南、赤凤四个大乡，1957年归湖与仙洋又并为归湖乡。1958年5月，归湖、凤南、赤凤合为一个大行政区，同年9月8日设归湖镇公社；1961年春，凤南、赤凤各析出为公社。1983年设归湖区，1987年改称归湖镇。[3][5]
2002年，省里调整镇级行政区划，原归湖镇与原凤南镇撤并组建为现在的镇。[2] 潮安县于2013年6月28日撤销，新设的潮安区接管归湖镇。[1][3]
镇政府原称龟湖，因盛产龟而得名。此地地势低洼，常积水成湖，清道光年间（1821—1850年）改称归湖。[6]
据镇内各村社区的沿革记载，1999年前后，多数生产大队改设为村民委员会，此后名称未再变动。[5]
地理环境[edit]
镇域多山。山地约占镇域大部分，博雅地名网记为82.6平方公里，主要植杉、松、竹。[2] 地势东北高、西南低，北部和东部为丘陵山地，镇区位于中部至西南部，地形较为平坦。[2]
百度百科记全镇面积为128.17平方千米，与博雅地名网的157.9平方公里不同，两说并存。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
百度百科载，2019年末户籍人口31562人。[1] 博雅地名网提到镇内有三个少数民族村，即碗窑、山犁与溪美岭脚，并记这三村人口为750人，该页未注明统计年份。[2]
经济[edit]
归湖镇以农业为主，经济果树以橄榄为主。博雅地名网记2002年时，全镇农村人均纯收入为3109元，工农业总产值则为3.06亿元。[2]
到2006年，该镇农业产值为8765万元，工业产值达到0.9亿元，全镇工农业总产值合计1.81亿元。同年税收入库额为837万元，农民人均纯收入升至3478元。[2]
2000至2004年，广东省开展「一乡一品」活动，归湖镇以橄榄种植为重点，打造「归湖橄榄」特色产品，并带动白粉梅、荔枝、龙眼等果树的生产。[2]
2024年3月，归湖镇被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」；2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[7]
名胜古迹[edit]
戴平万故居位于溪口村，建于清末，门楣灰塑匾额「儒林第」为清末潮州书法家戴贞素所书。宅院坐西向东，两进两厢，前有埕，后带花园；全宅面阔28.5米，进深47.4米，占地约1351平方米。2022年，广东省人民政府将其公布为第十批广东省文物保护单位。[4][8]
龟山遗址在金舟二塘，时代从东周延续到汉。1982年发现，占地约500平方米，所出陶器包括罐、盒、钵与器盖。[4]
神山遗址位于梨树下神山的南坡，遗存属商周时期，1982年发现。遗址范围约1．2万平方米，发现的陶片有夹砂红陶、黑陶等，石器有斧、锛、镞、环。[12]
神山山岗遗址在梨下村神山，遗存属新石器晚期。维基百科称其于2006年4月被定为潮安区文物保护单位；博雅地名网则说它在2006年列为潮州市级文物保护单位，两说的级别不同。[13][4]
王大宝墓位于神前山「沉江月」一带，墓碑高2.3米，占地约四亩，墓前设石翁仲、石狮、石马等石雕，博雅地名网称之为宋代大型石雕群。维基百科载其为广东省文物保护单位。[4][10]
幽谷逸林旅游区位于高原村枫土自然村一带的陂头坑山沟峡谷中，峡谷长约5公里，谷中有6处落差最高达100米的瀑布，距潮州市区约40公里。[11][4]
塘埔村渭庐位于塘埔村，2019年12月，被认定为第三批潮州市历史建筑。[4]
著名人物[edit]
王大宝生于北宋绍圣元年（1094年），旧属海阳县汤头村，今为归湖镇人。[9] 1128年（南宋建炎二年）廷试得第二名，为榜眼，授南雄州教授。[10] 其后历任连州、温州知府，兵部侍郎、礼部侍郎等职，乾道六年（1170年）去世，后被推为「潮州八贤」之一。[10]
