樟厝洲村是潮安区江东镇下辖的行政村，位于江东岛南部，南临韩江，隔江与东凤镇相望，东接谢渡村，西连渡头村，北连塔社。旧称礼乐乡，村名由先祖迁居时已有的“樟厝洲”沿用而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，明正德年间，东浦公一支自福建迁出，先居鳌头乡，其后人遗香公又迁至东凤文路卓村。清代的迁居年份，该网站写作“清康熙三十年（公元1703年）”，但康熙三十年为公元1691年，两者不合，此处不取其年份。此后迁入樟厝洲，至今已历十四世。[1][2]

明末清初此地姓氏较杂，后多数姓氏消逝；至民国初年，黄、杨两姓均改为林姓，村中现以林、陈两姓为主。北面的塔社村原有林、方、高三姓，1950年起归樟厝洲管辖。[1][2]

1977年，村以村名设樟厝洲大队；1999年改为村民委员会，此名沿用至今。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村子耕地约600亩，地势较高，为沙质土，高低起伏较大，历来是经济作物区。村前韩江一带旧有渡口，往来频繁。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网，村中人口2601人（不包括塔社）。村民旅居海外的有300多人，泰国、新加坡等地较多，远至南美的厄瓜多尔亦有。该网站未注明统计年份。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村里以甘蔗、花生等经济作物为主。1960年洪水泛滥，村中近百亩田地积沙成滩，灾后经过平整、修筑排灌系统，逐步恢复为耕地。1972年，村里大力发展药材生产，种植党参、菊花、淮山、生地等，一度成为潮安县的药材生产基地。改革开放后，村中以蔬菜、玉米、竹笋、香蕉等为主。[1][2]

1971年，村办竹器厂，生产竹盘、碗、筐、粪箕等，持续十多年。1987年起村中办起服装厂，目前大小服装厂、机绣厂有十余家。[1][2]

文化[edit]

据博雅地名网，村中旧有私塾4所，民国时增至6所。1945年合并为一所，定名「江东乡第七保第三国民学校」，1950年改名樟洲小学。1995年，村里与海外侨亲共同出资，另建学校，用地10亩，楼宇四层，建筑面积2230平方米，耗资逾160万元。学校目前有学生320人，教职工12人。[1][2]

解放后，村中大专以上毕业生逾九十人，其中博士、硕士各一人，高级教师2人，处级以上干部7人。[1][2]

1954年，村中有“群艺”剧社，曾多次参加县镇汇演。1958年建立接生站，1964年设保健室。[1][2]

2024年4月，樟厝洲村入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单；2022年10月，「2022年淘宝村」名单公布，樟厝洲村上榜；2021年10月，「2021年淘宝村」名单由南京大学空间规划研究中心与阿里研究院联合发布，樟厝洲村入选。[1][2]
