历史沿革[edit]
据村情所载，谢氏肇基公在洪武二十七年（公元1394年）从莆田独树都涵首村乌衣巷迁来此地创乡。乡名取「贾里」，寓意西堂贝锦；村中的桥取名「涵头」，以示不忘涵首旧村。[2]
抗战前，村子曾与高厦、仁里并为和平乡，归东莆区管。1952年，它与刘畔村合成联和乡。此后1956年归高厦乡，次年改属沙溪乡。1958年以主村名称为贾里大队，那时属金石公社；1961年后划入沙溪公社。1983年为贾里乡，1987年称贾里村。[1][2]
地理与经济[edit]
村子总面积约2平方公里。耕地2020亩，山地950亩，池塘与溪涧85亩；住720户，共3269人。村子以农业为主，是全镇的主要产粮区之一。[2]
马蹄是村子的主要经济作物。1985年，村中种马蹄535亩，约占耕地的26.5%；产出17979担，价值23372元，约占全村总收入的28%。[2]
建筑[edit]
村子包括西厝、东厝、寨内、巷头四个自然村。村中旧式屋宇较多，有五祠、四轩、一大楼和四书斋等建筑。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，村子先后列入「2020年淘宝村」「2021年淘宝村」「2022年淘宝村」名单。2019年9月，又列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
