五嘉陇村是广东省潮州市潮安区沙溪镇下辖的行政村，由叶厝、李厝两个自然村组成，距镇治4里。村子南傍桑浦山的蟹目山，东接高厦二村和高楼村，西邻贾里村。[1][2]
村中现有叶、李、朱三姓，叶姓为多。博雅地名网的概况页沿用旧名「五更陇村」，村史则称1958年命名为「五嘉陇大队」，1999年改称五嘉陇村。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
明朝末年（公元1578—1640年），吴、朱、李、郑、叶五姓先后从福建迁来此地定居。因五姓聚族而居，故村子以「五更陇」为名。[2]
建国初期，村子曾与高楼村合并为和平乡，属潮安第七区。1956年属高厦乡，1957年属沙溪乡，1958年后属高厦大队。1961年以后另设一个大队，划入沙溪人民公社；1983年为五更陇乡，1987年才称五更陇村。1999年改为五嘉陇村民委员会。[1][2]
人物与旧居[edit]
据村情所载，清乾隆年间有武进士李芳园，曾任金门总兵署厦门水师提督，是本村李厝人，村中建有「世将军第」。世将军第位于五嘉陇村，为清代建筑，2012年公布为潮州市文物保护单位。[2][3]
地理与经济[edit]
村中耕地786亩、山地480亩，人口1351人，计289户。农业为主，主要农作物有水稻、地瓜、甘蔗、豆类和生柑。工副业有抽纱、织羊毛和服装加工。[2]
村中昔年的草鞋工艺很兴盛，十九世纪二十年代出产的「地球牌」草鞋畅销东南亚一带，至今每年仍有万余双草鞋出口。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，村子获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」称号。[1]
