历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，延禧公于嘉靖十四年（公元1535年）由风塘溪头宫迁往高灰埕（现属沙溪二村）安居，故称「徙溪头」，后又称沙溪头。[2]
早先沙溪一、二村本是同一个自然村，名为沙溪头乡。1959年前此地亦称沙溪村；1961年一分为二，设沙一、沙二两个大队。1983年为沙一乡，1987年改为沙溪一村，仍归沙溪镇管辖。[1][2]
地理与经济[edit]
村子南部是山地，北部为平原，兼有山地与平原两种地貌。水稻、地瓜、花生、黄红麻和生柑是主要农作物，山地上还产桃、李、荔枝、香蕉等杂果。[2]
灰沙土与石料加工是村子的主要经济来源，从业人数逐年增加。1985年全村纯收入170多万元，人均收入355．40元。村中有沙溪市场与镇政府办公大楼。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
孙默斋墓俗称「三女贵墓」，墓前有碑亭和拜亭，均用花岗岩巨石筑成。博雅地名网称墓在眠龙山，位于沙一村。它于1987年被公布为文物保护单位，2012年列为广东省文物保护单位，维基百科注明省级公布时间为2012年10月。[3][4]
孙石磎墓的位置，博雅地名网说在桑浦山伯爷山北坡，百科则说在沙溪一村。墓为明代，碑亭与拜亭均为花岗岩巨石筑成。它于1987年被公布为文物保护单位，2022年7月认定为广东省文物保护单位，属第十批。[3][5][6]
沙溪影剧院位于本村，建于1987年，2020年4月16日列入第四批潮州市文物保护单位名单。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2026年3月，村子被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。2024年1月，村子被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
2019年9月，村子列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2020年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2020年广东省卫生村」称号；2022年10月，又列入「2022年淘宝村」名单。[1]
