历史沿革[edit]
据村情所载，明朝初年（公元1370—1380年），揭阳县京岗乡的孙氏云峰迁来此处定居，建有公厅。厅前有一池，后面又加了围墙，村子因此得名内池。[2]
建国后至1961年，村子归潮安第七区、第十区管辖。1961年至1975年间与下西林村合并为下西林大队，1975年后另立内池大队，1983年称内池乡，1987年改称内池村。1999年改为内池村民委员会。[1][2]
村子是革命老区，出过为革命牺牲的烈士，孙立富同志即出生于此。[2]
地理与经济[edit]
全村447户、2320人，耕地880亩。主要种水稻、花生、果蔗和生柑；目前生柑种植417亩，约占耕地的47%，西洋菜近百亩，销往潮州、揭阳、汕头等地。工副业有抽纱等。[2]
教育与设施[edit]
村中有小学一所，由旅居新加坡的华侨林玩柔女士捐建；另有幼儿园和合作医疗站各一所，全村实现了电灯照明。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，内池村获广东省爱卫会授予的「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，它先后列入「2020年淘宝村」「2021年淘宝村」「2022年淘宝村」名单。[1]
