仙都一村是潮安区金石镇下辖的行政村，1961年由原仙都村（原名山兜）拆分而成，位于镇区东北侧，与金石集镇隔有一段距离。村中有仙一、董厝、深巷三个自然村，林、董、陈、谢、肖、李、黄、洪、郑、杨等姓杂居。[1][2]
地名由来[edit]
原名山兜，因村中出了高中状元的林大钦，朝廷与其往来的书信中，“仙”与“山”、“都”与“兜”读音相近，人们出于敬重，遂将山兜写作仙都。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年公社化时村归仙德大队管辖；1961年另立，取村名首字定名「仙一大队」。因与彩塘公社的同名大队重复，1981年改称「仙都一大队」。1999年起，村改设仙都一村村民委员会。[1][2]
经济[edit]
土壤为砂泥田，历来主种水稻，兼产甘蔗、花生和生柑。鹳巢车站至东山湖的公路穿村而过。村办企业涵盖粮食加工、橡塑工艺、服装加工、纸品文具与包装、彩瓷以及陶瓷工艺品等门类。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，仙都一村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2026年3月，仙都一村被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。[1]
