张厝巷村是潮安区金石镇下辖的单姓行政村，全村张姓，位于镇区东南约1.8千米处。一世祖张建昌宋末自福建莆田石榴花巷携眷来此定居。村中有一条大巷，建有更楼，村名由姓氏和巷名而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1974年分队，以村名成立「张厝大队」，1999年改称张厝巷村民委员会，此名沿用至今。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

村域面积0.28平方千米，属泥田，以农业为主，宜种水稻、甘蔗、小麦、花生和生柑等经济作物。[1]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予张厝巷村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
