陈厝巷村是潮安区金石镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区东南约2.5千米处，由陈厝巷与寨尾沟两个自然村合成。陈厝巷的始祖陈松门宋末自福建莆田迁来；寨尾沟旧称潘厝巷，开基者潘德林南宋末从庵埠镇潘陇村迁入。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
1974年分队，以村名成立「陈厝大队」。1999年改称陈厝巷村民委员会，此名沿用至今。寨尾沟之名则因其地处大寨之末、四周有沟而得。[1][2]
麦生糖[edit]
村中有制作麦生糖的传统工艺。据载，清顺治年间起多数村民即操此业，光绪年间尤为兴盛，除本村多家作坊外，还有人到邻县开店营业。[2]
经济[edit]
村民以农业为主，土壤多为砂泥田和泥田，可以水旱轮作，主要种植水稻、甘蔗、小麦和花生。近年，村中的彩瓷、食品、收旧利废等企业发展较快。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，陈厝巷村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，陈厝巷村先后列入淘宝村名单。2020年12月，广东省爱卫会授予陈厝巷村「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
