下陇村是潮安区金石镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区东侧约1千米处，东离潮汕公路约300米。村原名霞陇，宋末由福建莆田西河乡迁来的林光佑是林氏始祖，此后子孙定居于此。[1][2]

村名由来[edit]

村址低洼，村面朝东，清晨常有云雾映照，故名霞陇。后因“霞”与“下”读音相近，遂改称下陇。[2]

手工业[edit]

村人多地少，自明朝起便有编织竹器的传统，饭篮、菜篮、竹扫和粪萁等器物历代相沿，花色则随时而变。如今全村家家织竹，产品除在本地周边县市销售外，还远销福建等地。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1973年以村名命名「下陇大队」，1999年改称下陇村民委员会，此名沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年9月，下陇村列入「2020年淘宝村」名单。2021年10月，下陇村列入「2021年淘宝村」名单。2022年10月，下陇村列入「2022年淘宝村」名单。[1]
