1958年，鹳巢村分成四个大队，各队名取自村名首字，本村为「鹳四大队」；1999年起称鹳巢四村民委员会，至今未变。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
居民共4112人，耕地1048亩，村域范围为1.5平方千米。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年3月，鹳巢四村被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，本村先后入选淘宝村名单。[1]
