名称与村落[edit]
相传古时村东有一株大榕树，树上有鹳鸟筑巢，因此取名鹳巢。[2]
村子南通汕头市，北通潮州市。潮汕公路由此经过。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
据《李氏族谱》，宋末元兵南侵，莆田居民李肇初迁至海阳县南面定居。此前村中已有陈、黄、王、邱、赖、林、张、蔡等姓氏居民，今以李氏为主姓。[2]
1914年以前属海阳县隆津都；1949至1952年属潮安县第六区，1953年归潮安县第十区；1956年底改属龙湖乡，1958年改属浮洋公社，1961年起归龙湖管辖至今。[2]
1925年成立鹳巢农民协会，1929年建立苏维埃政权，本村为老苏区。[2]
明代，村中一门出了四名进士，还有监察御史李春芳，以及户部郎中李恩悦与刑部郎中李思寅。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
村内人口4112人，海外侨胞300人，耕地900亩；另一处村情页载全村耕地5083亩。[1][2]
作物以潮州柑、水稻与花生居多。鹳巢蜜柑果实硕大、核少，是本村的特产。据《李氏族谱》，鹳巢柑在明代嘉靖年间已有种植；到1987年，种植面积扩大至1132亩。[2]
抽纱、南金、服装机绣与竹器制作是本村的工副业。2005年，村中工农业收入达4500万元。[2]

2021年10月和2022年10月，鹳巢一村先后入选淘宝村名单。[1]
