上阁洲一村又称郑厝，与上阁洲二村合称上阁洲村。村子在镇政府以北约2.5公里处，村东临韩江，护堤公路由此经过，向北可达潮州，向南可达汕头。村内是传统竹艺生产专业村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村所在的上阁洲，旧名凤阁洲上村，明嘉靖年间设乡，1914年以前隶属海阳县登隆都。相传设乡之初，这里是韩江冲积出的沙洲，常有凤凰落脚，故得此名。[1]

1958年并入浮洋公社，编为阁洲生产大队；1961年划归龙湖公社，称阁一大队；1999年成为上阁洲一村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

经济与竹艺[edit]

村内人口1891人。耕地346亩，作物以水稻为首，另有甘茨、花生与香蕉。[1]

本村的竹艺生产历史相传已有四百多年，产品二百多种，远销欧美及国内各地。[1]

2005年，全村工农业总产值为2500万元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，本村先后入选淘宝村名单。[1]
