龙湖镇是广东省潮州市潮安区下辖的镇，位于韩江下游西岸。据博雅地名网，全镇辖1个社区和15个行政村，镇政府驻市头村。[2]镇内的龙湖古寨是保存较完整的古建筑群，据称始建于宋代，明代围寨，寨内“三街六巷”的格局延续至今，留有祠堂、府第与书院。[1][6]

龙湖镇旧称塘湖，因寨中直街形似龙脊而改称龙湖。1987年撤区建镇，1992年起称潮安县龙湖镇；2013年潮安县撤销、设立潮安区后，改属潮安区。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

北宋元丰年间（1078至1085年），龙湖各村属海阳县延德乡下辖的隆津都与登隆都。1914年（民国三年）原来的“都”改称为“区”。1950年，潮安县分为8个行政区，本镇各村属第六区（云隆区）。[3]

1956年2月，区级建制取消，改设乡；同年12月，龙湖、银湖、鹳巢三个乡合并，称龙湖乡。1958年9月龙湖乡与浮洋乡撤销，设浮洋公社；1961年4月，浮洋公社一分为二，分设浮洋与龙湖两个公社。[3]

1983年一度称潮州市龙湖区，1987年撤区设镇，定名潮州市龙湖镇；1992年又改为潮安县龙湖镇。2013年6月，国务院批准撤销潮安县，设立潮安区，本镇遂归潮安区管辖。[3]

地名旧作塘湖。明天启年间（1621至1627年），村民因防备倭寇而围筑寨墙；寨中格局为“三街六巷”，南北向的主街形同龙背，故更名龙湖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2012年5月，本镇列入「第三批广东省历史文化名镇名村」，该批名单于同年5月28日公布。[1][5]

2020年、2021年和2022年，龙湖镇先后列入阿里研究院公布的「淘宝镇」名单，发布月份分别为当年9月、10月和10月。[1]

文化遗产[edit]

龙湖古寨在护堤路旁，靠近韩江。据百度百科，古寨始创于宋，围寨于明，繁盛于清，寨内的古建筑包括绣衣第、探花府、进士第、方伯第、天后宫，以及许氏宗祠与龙湖书院。[6]

据《海阳县志》所载，古寨于南宋绍兴二年（1132年）创乡，明永乐三年（1405年）围寨，设有七个寨门。博雅地名网则称其始建于一千多年前的南宋年间，与上述年份不同。[10][7]

关于寨内科第与祠堂的数目，各书所载不一。博雅地名网称，据考证寨中出身科举的进士与举人计53人；至清末民初，寨内祠堂、官宦府第与富商宅院共有100多座。[7] 2017年人民政协网刊文则称，有据可考的进士、举人为69位，宗祠有56座，书院与书斋共28处。[10]

寨内的龙湖书院在南门边，始建于明代，题写匾额的梁国治为乾隆十三年（1748年）状元。[10]

龙湖寨位于市头、市尾两村，时代为明至民国，2006年被公布为潮州市文物保护单位。[8] 龙湖古寨在广东十大最美古村落的评选中于2012年11月入选。[6]

龙湖寨门西侧立有“塘湖刘公御倭保障记石刻”，碑文记述明嘉靖年间福建少参刘见湖在家乡守丧期间，率乡民抵抗倭寇的经过。[4]

据2025年7月的报道，潮安区投入420余万元修缮龙湖古寨建筑群中的婆祠和方伯第，并申报把省级文物保护单位共8处（其中有方伯第、许氏宗祠与婆祠）列入全国重点文物保护名录。镇内还改建了龙湖非遗展览馆，修缮龙湖书院，并整治了古寨沿街10处古建筑的危房。[9]

同一报道中，龙湖镇党委副书记介绍，近两年镇里修缮了约150家开业商铺；每年游客超50万人次，旅游收入近4000万元。[9]

东升村的「塘东刘天褒节孝坊」建于清代，2020年4月16日，该坊被公布为「第四批潮州市文物保护单位」。[4]

特产与民俗[edit]

龙湖毛笔据称始于元朝末年，由陈氏先人自福建雷州带艺入村，产品分书法、美容、采绘等几十种，远销港澳及东南亚。[1]

龙湖炖糕又称书册糕，由黄美和号创制，已有近百年的历史。镇上的美食街以龙湖酥糖、炖糕、蚝烙等小吃为主。[1][9]

博雅地名网提到，镇内有以编织竹灯笼为业的湖边林。[1]

据2017年人民政协网的文章，龙湖历史上出过南宋探花姚宏中，以及明嘉靖二十年（1541年）进士、御倭名将刘子兴。[10]
