地理环境[edit]
村域东面是田墩，北面与桥湖相连，东南方向挨着徐陇，西南则与仙庭隔望。西北一端抵达青麻山南麓，与凤塘镇的杨厝、蔡厝、冯厝接壤。村域距镇政府西北约1.5千米。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
南宋德佑元年（1275年），始祖南坡从福建蒲田迁居此地，其后裔分支立起若干村落。村中居民以曾、林、吴、许、卢五姓为主，曾姓居多。[2]
清同治十年（1871年），林厝、风地两处祠堂已办私塾。辛亥革命之后，在风地设立陇美小学，桥头、林厝、饶福设为分校点，新中国成立后仍称陇美小学，校址设在桥头祠堂。[2]
1958年，村庄命名为「陇美大队」；1999年改为陇美村民委员会，此后未再更名。[3]
经济[edit]
村民以农业为主，兼营家庭手工业。林厝的棕蓑、许厝的竹笼、吴厝的藤盾、饶福的漂白布和洋东的纸料，都属传统工艺。[2]
村子的溪流旧时常有旱涝之患，后经整治河道、截弯取直，修通排涝水系，并引入外来水源灌溉。村中1954年7月首创稻田套种黄麻的办法，此后在各地推广，1978年一本由全国黄苎麻研究所编写的刊物登载了这一经验。[2]
2019年9月，陇美村被纳入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位的名单。2020年12月，广东省爱卫会授予陇美村「2020年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]
