历史沿革[edit]
人民公社化的1958年，此地设玉窖大队。此后，1999年起改设玉窖村民委员会，至今仍用此名。[1]
2001年，村工农业总产值为9882万元，人均收入为4848元。[1]
文物[edit]
廷宾公祠位于村内，由民国华侨谢廷宾兴建。它原是三座祠堂相连的“三壁联”建筑群，东侧一座因甬莞高速建设而拆除，现存两座。该祠于2020年4月16日列入「第四批潮州市文物保护单位」名录。[2][3]
潮安谢氏大宗祠在新市门直街，建于清代，2016年公布为潮州市文物保护单位。[3]
