凤水村为潮安区凤塘镇所辖的行政村，俗称下水邱，为片村，含凤水、港美两个自然村。村子位于镇政府驻地西南约5.3千米处。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

宋末，邱氏迁居于此。村子临近西溪，地势低洼，涨潮时潮水四溢，因而俗称下水邱。后取其中祥瑞之水的意思，改称凤水。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1974年设凤水大队，队名取自主村。此后，1999年起改设凤水村民委员会，至今仍用此名。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村」创建单位名单；2021年12月，获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉。[1]
