村党支部和村委会以农村政策为指导，稳定农业生产，同时发展建筑、陶瓷、珠绣、服装、抽纱和运输等行业，发展集体经济。1996年，村筹资四十余万元修建镇道。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月，村获认定为「全国乡村治理示范村」。2020年12月，获「2020年广东省卫生村」荣誉。2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
