村名与历史[edit]
村子明末创建，早期杂姓聚居，冯姓人家居多，因而以冯姓命名。村子又建在青麻山脚下，因此又称“青麻山冯”。[1]
1958年公社化时转为大队；1965年，本村桥湖与泮洋合为一个大队；1978年，泮洋的本村以主村名命名为冯厝大队。此后，1999年起改设冯厝村民委员会，至今仍用此名。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，村获广东省爱卫会授予的「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]
