历史沿革[edit]
1958年，此地以村名命名为浮岗大队；1984年起设浮岗乡人民政府，1987年变更为浮岗管理区。此后，1999年起改设浮岗村民委员会，至今仍用此名。[1]
地理与产业[edit]
村民以阮、刘、谢、陈四姓为主。村里有陶瓷、彩瓷、贝灰和砖瓦等工厂，村北有安揭公路经过，村东为广梅汕铁路的货运站。村中有小学和医疗站各一所。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2020年12月，获得「2020年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，村三次列入淘宝村名单。[1]
