历史沿革[edit]
公社化期间的1958年，大葫芦与小葫芦合编为一队；1973年，改以村名设大葫芦大队；1999年，改设大葫芦村民委员会。[1]
1977年，因修建大葫芦水库，村子整体迁往新址，成为移民新村，仍沿用原村名。[2]
地理与经济[edit]
1976年，当地在此建成一座二级水库，蓄水量达900多万立方米。村内笔架山海拔941.4米，是西山溪的发源地之一。境内矿产有锡精矿、独居石和水晶等。[2][3]
村民历来扎扫帚、编篓叶，特产「葫芦炭」以无烟耐燃闻名。据百度百科，村内竹笋种植约300亩，年产约150吨。[2][3]
2020年12月，大葫芦村获「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
文化[edit]
1929年3月和4月，古大存曾在村中组织红军赤卫队，开辟革命根据地。乡人蓝大目为国牺牲，1982年政府拨款为他修建烈士墓。[2]
蓝大目烈士碑立在田东村的大栅山上，由潮安县田东镇人民政府于1999年树立。[3]
