栖凤村是登塘镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北部。村子北面与丰顺县黄沙田相接，东面与伍全村毗邻，隔山即是小葫芦村。[1][2][3]

村子俗称西公寮，由下汶田、方田岗、栖凤三个自然村组成，全村姓刘。清康熙三十九年（1700年），刘姓始祖从福建迁来，相传开山之时有凤鸟飞来栖息，村名由此而来。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化期间，栖凤与伍全合编为一个大队；1963年改以村名设栖凤大队；1999年改设栖凤村民委员会。[1]

民国二十九年至三十二年（1940年至1943年），独九旅曾在村中设立后方医院。1947年，一支武工队在此一带活动。[2]

地理与经济[edit]

天顶岽是村内的最高峰，海拔783.4米。村子与丰顺县交界处立有清乾隆四年（1739年）的古界碑，碑上刻有「海丰分界，清乾隆四年立」。[2][3]

耕地299亩，主产水稻、甘薯和花生；山地6841亩，种有木薯和水果。全村有143户，共674人（2006年12月数据）。[1][2]

文化[edit]

村内有抗日英烈陵园，安葬着62位抗战牺牲的烈士，被列为红色革命教育基地。[3]

2019年9月，栖凤村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
