伍全村是登塘镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北部。村子西北与栖凤村接壤，西侧邻小葫芦村，面积15平方公里。[1][2][3]
村内有黄竹径、赤溜、伍全等共5个自然村，伍全是主村。明初，刘、郑、高、黄、简五姓在此建乡聚居，村名由此而来。明末清初又有沈、胡、李三姓迁入。[2][3]
历史沿革[edit]
村子位于栖凤之前，而「凤」与「红」音近，历史上村子又称红前乡。[2][3]
1958年公社化期间，伍全与栖凤合编为一个大队；1963年改以主村名设伍全大队；1999年改设伍全村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村共有2548人，分属509户（2006年12月数据）。山地20053亩，耕地777亩，林木以杉、松、竹为主，另有木薯、茶和杂果。[2]
1976年前后，村里已经办起榨油、榨糖、农场、运输和小水电等项目。[2]
2021年12月，伍全村获广东省爱卫会授予的「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。据百度百科，2021年村内约有3000人口，家庭医生签约率为90.1%。[1][3]
文化[edit]
西面的石芽山海拔587.5米，东部的尖笔山海拔521米。西山溪在此有发源地，溪名葫芦溪，全长5公里，河床宽18米；1961年以前还能通航，现已淤积。[2]
民间保留着客家山歌对唱的传统，《潮州歌谣谚语集成》也收录了该村的歌谣。[3]
