郑岗村是登塘镇下辖的行政村，北临西山溪，东南距登塘墟约2公里，聚落呈长条块状。[1]

村子创于明朝末期，原名茶岗。后来郑姓迁入并发展较快，成为主姓，村名因此改为郑岗。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子原分为顶、下两村，1980年以后因村落扩大而连成一片。1974年，村子从林妈陂大队分出，以村名设郑岗大队；1999年改为郑岗村民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

创乡时村中有林、陈、鄞等姓，后来郑、章二姓迁入。现以郑姓为主，另有章、郭两姓。2006年12月，全村1017人。[1]

耕地480亩，主产水稻、甘薯、甘蔗和豆类，也出产生柑；山地种松、竹、茶和杂果。村子通过0.5公里简易公路连接安丰公路。[1]

文化[edit]

1985年，村西建起小学一所，在学学生100人，入学率94.2%。[1]

2020年12月，郑岗村获广东省爱卫会授予的「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
