东岗村是广东省潮州市潮安区古巷镇下辖的村庄，位于古巷镇政府驻地西北约4.5千米[1]。这是一个片村，由东岗、军埔、胶塘三个自然村组成[1]。

地名与源流[edit]

村子原名东均村，因村寨位于东面山坡中央而取名。70年代，因村名与市内另一村同音同字，改名东岗村[1]。村庄创建于明朝末年，最初有蔡、曾、黄三姓，现在以曾、黄两姓为主[1]。

人口与产业[edit]

博雅地名网载村中人口927人，未注统计年份[1]。

村民以农业为主要收入来源，种水稻，产荔枝、菠萝、橄榄等，兼养塘鱼。约两成劳力从事二、三产业[1]。村中设有小学1所，有简易公路通往安丰公路[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，该村入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，此地以主村「东岗」命名为「东岗大队」；1978年，网地、军塘两个本队仍沿用「东岗大队」的名称；1999年改为东岗村民委员会，此名沿用至今[1]。
