孚中村又称埔中，是广东省潮州市潮安区古巷镇辖下的村子，位于镇政府驻地东侧约1至2千米，为城乡结合区[1][3]。村里由大乡、北厝、饶埔、孚梓寨四个自然村组成[1][3]。2009年，该村被认定为广东省古村落；村中保留黄氏家庙等清代建筑[3][1]。
地名与源流[edit]
村子坐落在丘陵之间的平坦开阔地上，原俗称埔中。因“孚”与“埔”读音相近而较雅，遂写作孚中[2]。据《黄氏族谱》，其祖先于宋度宗年间（1265至1274年）由福建莆田迁来，当时已有郭、袁、张、杨等姓在此居住[2]。百度百科则说南宋时黄氏迁入，此后历经多个朝代，至民国时演变为单姓村落[3]。
村内的孚中寨建于明嘉靖年间，寨里有状元石狮、旗杆群等文物[3]。博雅地名网另称清代武状元黄仁勇出生于此村[2]。
人口与产业[edit]
百度百科记截至2005年底的农业人口为7480人，村民使用潮州话[3]。博雅地名网记人口7054人，未注统计年份[2]。
百度百科称2005年村内工业企业有150余家，全年总产值7.4亿元，以陶瓷制造为主[3]。博雅地名网则记耕地1817亩，种水稻、柑桔与荔枝；约七成五的劳力从事二、三产业，集体与个体企业共115家[2]。截至2025年2月，村内污水收集率达到60.8%[3]。
文物[edit]
孚中黄氏家庙建于清代，2020年4月16日被公布为「第四批潮州市文物保护单位」[1][4]。
荣誉[edit]
2020年9月、2021年10月与2022年10月，该村三次被列入淘宝村名单[1]。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予该村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1958年，公社化初期此处设立大队，因以村名为号，称「孚中大队」。1999年，大队改为孚中村民委员会，此名沿用至今[1]。
