城甲村是湘桥区官塘镇下辖的行政村，位于镇政府驻地东南约2.5千米，北溪西岸。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
村名原作「社甲」，后演变为今名。[2]
北宋时郑贤达迁来此地定居，建村；此后多个姓氏陆续迁入，明清时人口一度达数千。[2]
博雅地名网记：1987年设村民委员会，1989年为管理区委员会，1999年为委员会，沿用至今。[1]
