铺埔村是铁铺镇下辖的行政村，别称铺头埠，城乡分类上属镇中心区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村落创建于元末明初。据《秋溪陈氏族谱》，明末陈天齐迁来时，村中已有王、黄、许、叶、余等姓居住，村落分为上埔、下埔和丰盛三个自然村。[1]

村名的来历：古时村子西南临浅海滩，西北与腾福埔相接，是当时航行去腾福埔必经的第一站。[1]

1987年设立铺埔村委会，1989年改设铺埔管理区，1999年恢复村委会名称。[2]

经济[edit]

村域地处丘陵，盛产水稻、地瓜、茶叶和潮州柑，白叶单丛茶为特色产品。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

「铺埔儒林第（中共潮澄饶中心县委机关旧址）」其年代标注为1939年，被归入近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑一类，公布的时间是2020年4月16日，批次为第四批潮州市文物保护单位。[2][3][4]

大革命至解放战争时期，本村共有23位革命烈士，村落被划定为“红色游击区”。[1]
