历史沿革[edit]
村的东、南、北三面环山，中间一条大坑沟自东向西流出，村名因此得名坑门。[1]
1987年设立坑门村委会，1989年改设坑门管理区，1999年恢复村委会名称。[2]
人口民族[edit]
全村下辖7个自然村，面积2200亩，人口1996人（百度百科，未注统计年份）。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
这5座古寨是西埔寨、松柏楼、洪厝埔寨、杨厝寨和东寨；东寨俗称豪埔寨，建于康熙年间。东寨与洪厝埔寨寨前，各竖一块雍正年间武进士刘昭达的旗杆石。[1]
文化[edit]
2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予坑门村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[2]
