铁铺镇是广东省潮州市湘桥区下辖的镇，位于区境东南部，西邻官塘镇，辖1个社区和23个行政村。[1]

镇域处在原潮安县与饶平、澄海两县的交界地带，农业以茶、果、粮、菜为主，茶叶中以白叶单枞茶为代表。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

镇名与旧时的制铁业有关。据博雅地名网，笔圃一带的铁器作坊出品质量好，船户多到那里买铁器，人们渐渐只称这里为“铁铺”，原有村名随之被取代；原居笔山的人担心旧名湮没，便在“铁铺”之后另加一个“山”字，叫作“铁铺山”。[3]

明成化十四年（1478年）铁铺属饶平县管辖，明嘉靖四十四年（1565年）复归海阳县。民国三年（1914年）前属澄海县秋溪都；其后归潮安县秋溪区，1930年（民国十九年）改属秋东区。[5]

1950年，铁铺属潮安县第四区。1956年设铁铺乡，1958年改为铁铺公社，并兼辖官塘乡；1960年分设铁铺、官塘、铺埔三个公社，1962年三社重新合为铁铺公社，1976年官塘再度析出。铁铺区的建制存续于1983至1987年间，1987年改设为镇。[5]

2013年6月28日，经国务院批复，潮安县撤销并设立潮安区，此前属潮安县的铁铺镇改由潮州市湘桥区管辖。[2][5] 2017年1月1日起，铁铺镇事务改由凤泉湖高新技术产业开发区代为管理；2020年1月1日，铁铺镇重新由湘桥区直接管理，区政府此前委托高新区行使的经济和社会管理权限随之收回。[2]

百度百科载，截至2019年末，全镇户籍人口41280人。[1] 博雅地名网则记，据第七次全国人口普查结果，镇内人口为3.38万人，在湘桥区各街道乡镇中居第6位，其记载的时间为2021年6月。[3]

2019年时，全镇工业企业合计60家，规模以上的有15家；营业面积超过50平方米的综合商店与超市共10家。[1]

博雅地名网概况页（未注统计年份）称，粮食年产17000吨，冬种蔬菜18000吨，干茶2000吨，水果11000吨，农业总值2.1亿元。茶叶以「铁铺白叶单枞茶」为代表，该品牌在历次名茶评比中获奖逾100项；镇内有翼龙、宏伟两家省级农业龙头企业。[4]

2021年9月，广东省农业农村厅公布「第三批广东省一村一品一镇一业专业镇」名单，铁铺镇以岭南水果入选。[3]

2026年3月，铁铺镇被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

境内的文物保护单位有：铺埔村的「铺埔儒林第（中共潮澄饶中心县委机关旧址）」、石坵头村的「石坵头陈氏家庙」与「娘祠古渡口」，以及八角楼村的「八角楼寨」。[3]
