莲云村隶属广东省潮州市湘桥区凤新街道，村域在潮州大道北段一带，由莲墩、云里两个自然村组成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年1月设立村民委员会，1989年12月改设管理区委员会，1999年5月恢复为村委会。[2]

莲墩村的蔡氏先祖于明代中期从福建莆田迁入，云里村的曾氏则在明初自漳州迁来。潮州大道的建设推动了村庄的城市化，全村属于典型的「城中村」。[1]

产业与用地[edit]

陶瓷制造是村里的主导产业：莲云工业园区占地250亩，有110家企业入驻；2023年，规模以上陶瓷工业的总产值为1.78亿元。[1]

城乡建设[edit]

村子在2024年成为省级「百千万工程」典型村的培育对象，之后拆除危旧房，整治农房风貌，并新建了党建公园与休闲步道。[1]

村里保留着一座清代戏台，常年有潮剧演出；村级健身中心在湘桥区规模最大。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，莲云村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2]

2019年9月，莲云村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」。[2]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月发布的淘宝村名单，莲云村都在其中。[2]
