田中村隶属广东省潮州市湘桥区凤新街道，地处潮州大道北中段西北侧，总面积0.35平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年1月设立村民委员会，1989年12月改设管理区委员会，1999年5月恢复为村委会，沿用至今。[2]

地理与人口[edit]

村子东侧临潮州大道，南面与云梯村相邻，西面连着枫溪区的枫二村，北面与莲云村毗邻。[1]

2005年的户籍统计为1645人，其中务农人口1313人；村民全部姓蔡。[1]

产业与征拆[edit]

1980年代，村里以木器加工为主；1992年后逐步转向陶瓷生产与加工，建成165亩的工业园区，园里进驻企业近百家，庆发陶瓷有限公司居于龙头位置。[1]

2004年，村里的人均收入为5267元；工业产值11360万元，营业收入17460万元。[1]

2016年，绿榕西路湘桥区段在途经莲云、田中两村的路段征拆，两村合计193户，其中田中村占185户；拆迁完成后道路全线贯通。[1]

为配合道路建设，村内精尔美陶瓷公司整体搬迁。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，田中村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」。[2]

田中村先后三次列入淘宝村名单：2020年9月由阿里研究院公布，2021年10月由南京大学空间规划研究中心与阿里研究院联合发布，2022年10月也有发布。[2]
