万绿社区隶属广东省潮州市湘桥区凤新街道，位于潮州市区北部新城区中心地带。2024年7月26日，社区的一部分被划出，另设怡德社区。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

百度百科记社区成立于2004年3月，2004年7月又成立党支部。[1] 博雅地名网写作2004年成立万绿社区居民委员会。[2]

辖区与居民[edit]

社区辖区面积约1平方公里。边界大致为：新洋路以东，绿榕北路以南，潮州大道以西，凤新东路以北；住宅区有万绿花园、榕华园等。[1]

社区的户籍人口仅124人，常住人口则为约6000余人；居委会下设13个居民小组，现有7名干部。[1]

2024年调整[edit]

2024年7月26日，区民政部门发布公告，把原万绿社区片区分为万绿、怡德两个社区；原有的23个住宅小区划归新设的怡德社区，保留核心区域的仍叫万绿社区。[1] 人民网的报道也称，这次分拆新增设立了怡德、泰安两个社区。[3]

荣誉[edit]

社区曾于2021年获评「省级绿色社区」。[1]
