奎元社区位于广东省潮州市湘桥区，归凤新街道管辖，1999年12月成立，2002年改称奎元社区居民委员会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2018年12月，国家民委把奎元社区列为「第六批全国民族团结进步示范区」。[2]

2020年7月，社区获评「第六批广东省家庭文明建设示范点」。[1]

基层治理与文化[edit]

百度百科记，社区党支部以「加减乘除」工作法推进基层治理，借助网格化管理，力求小事不出社区。[1]

2024年，社区借助新时代文明实践站做潮剧文化宣讲，请非遗传承人讲解潮剧历史，又表演了《韩愈治潮》的片段。[1]
