上洲村属潮州市湘桥区城西街道，为城乡结合区的行政村。2026年3月，村庄被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年1月，村委会在上洲设立。1989年12月这里改为上洲管理区委员会，到1999年5月1日，又回复为上洲村村民委员会，此名一直沿用。[1]
