古美村是潮州市湘桥区城西街道下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区，位于潮州市区南面约2千米处的韩江南大堤外。[1][2]

村庄于2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，2021年10月列入「2021年淘宝村」名单，2022年10月又列入「2022年淘宝村」名单，2019年9月又上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年1月组建古美村村委会，三年后的1989年12月改设古美管理区委员会，直到1999年5月1日才再次成为古美村村民委员会。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

经济[edit]

村里的秋瓜（丝瓜）远近闻名，村内正计划将丝瓜申请为「一村一品」。[2]
