厦三村位于潮州市区南郊，行政上隶属湘桥区城西街道，为城乡结合区的行政村，总面积约0.8平方千米。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1959年，此地设立了村民委员会；到1989年12月，改组成厦三管理区委员会，直至1999年5月1日，才恢复成村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域由落园、戏园、下宫三个自然村组成，西面与厦一村以厦寺直街为界。[2]
