历史沿革[edit]

村民委员会在1959年设立，1989年12月改组为厦二管理区委员会，直至1999年5月1日才重新定为村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村内的经济组织是厦二经济联合社，该社于2020年成立，负责集体资产的经营与管理。[2]

2024年，该村被纳入「潮州市湘桥区厦一、厦二村等城中村改造专项借款项目」，改造规模为80万平方米，涵盖方案编制、征收补偿与资金平衡等内容。[2]
