历史沿革[edit]
村委会于1987年1月设立，1989年12月改设下津管理区委员会，1999年5月1日起复为村民委员会，至今沿用。[1]
下津村于2019年9月、2020年12月先后入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」和「2020年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位。2021年2月，司法部与民政部把下津村确定为「第八批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1][2]
产业[edit]
村里建有工业小区，设有5家规模企业，瓷泥开采和加工是主要业态。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
刘嵩家族墓为「广东省文物保护单位」，2015年12月公布，墓群含刘嵩、刘允、刘昉、刘景四座墓，建造时代分别属唐末、北宋、南宋与唐代。[3]刘嵩墓位于村内桃坑，坐东朝西，面宽10米。[1]
刘嵩墓的建造始于唐末，清康熙年间有过重修；刘允墓始建于北宋靖康元年（1126年），之后于1509年（明正德四年）重修；1772年（清乾隆三十七年）曾有重修的刘昉墓，始建于南宋绍兴年间（1131年至1162年）。[3]2025年，刘嵩墓修缮工程的勘察设计方案获广东省文物局批复。[3]
