兆龙社区在益隆村东侧，太平村在南侧，兴隆自然村则在西侧。全村面积约1088.69亩，辖区内有3个自然村，共11个村民小组，分为乌沙片、益隆片和兴隆片。村委会设在益隆自然村。[1]
村内建有益隆社坛，村名取自社坛之名，村委会也设于此。2020年、2021年和2022年，益隆村三次上榜淘宝村名单。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地是宋末元初淤积成的乌沙，明中叶至清初有人垦耕。清咸丰年间（1853年）有10户人家迁居此处，后来繁衍成村。[1]
1961年，乌沙大队一分为五，益隆为其中之一。1963年，乌沙、益隆两大队合并为益隆大队，隶属小榄公社。1967年一度改称长红大队，1976年复称益隆大队。1984年设益隆乡，1986年设益隆村委会，属东升镇。[1]
