盛丰社区在小榄镇南部，离镇政府约8公里，面积约5平方公里。北面连着绩西社区，东面和东南面与绩东二、宝丰社区接壤，西面连着联丰社区。小榄水道的分支金鱼沥从东部流过，新涌经过南部。东宝路和联丰路穿过社区。[1]
居委会原设于盛丰村，社区因此得名。社区内的咸水歌已列入市级非物质文化遗产。2022年9月，社区被认定为「2022年度第一批中山市绿色社区」。[1]
