安堂社区是广东省中山市大涌镇下辖的社区，位于镇政府西南方向，与中山市城区相距11.3千米。村落立于明代，辖区内保存有宗祠、寺庙等历史建筑。[1][3]
社区内住有1701户居民，户籍人口为5293人，另有流动人口逾万，下设安东、安南、安西、安北四个居民小组。[1]
名称与历史沿革[edit]
据《林氏族谱》及《香山县志》，安堂村始建于明洪武初年（1368年），初名龙兴村。明代新会的陈白沙途经此地，村民请其赐名，他因见村口有“明堂”牌楼，遂改称安堂。[1][2]
该村曾在解放前称乡，此后数度改称大队、朝阳大队，并于1976年一分为四，形成安东、安南、安西、安北四个自然村。1984年，四村合设安堂乡；1986年后设村委会，1990年一度为管理区，1997年重新设立村委会；2001年，村委会之上设立了安堂社区居委会。[1]
文物古迹[edit]
安堂林氏宗祠俗称双桂堂，始建年代有两种说法：博雅地名网称始建于清顺治年间，百度百科称始建于明正德年间。[4][5]
2009年，林氏宗祠、大觉古寺与“百岁流芳”牌坊一同被列为中山市文物保护单位；百度百科另记，林氏宗祠于2019年被评为广东省文物保护单位。[2][4][6]
大觉古寺别名独觉庵、观音庙，明代已有建筑，到同治十一年（1872年）才改建为寺。[6]
经济与荣誉[edit]
社区致力于发展集体物业，百度百科记2024年集体收入为1449.16万元。[3]
2009年，社区获「广东省“六好”平安和谐社区」称号；2019年6月，安堂列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录；2019年9月，社区上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2021年12月，社区被认定为「2021年度中山市绿色社区」。[1][2]
