禄围村位于板芙镇西南部，距镇政府约5千米，与板芙镇城区相连。村委辖区面积约7.84平方千米，西临西江，禄围涌穿村而过。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

道光初年（1821年至1823年），顺德、番禺一带的居民迁来定居。[2] 1824年（道光四年）筑成围堤，依「福、禄、寿、富、贵、荣、华」的次序，此围属「禄」字，村因此得名禄围。[2]

1958年，此地建禄围大队；1969年一度改称东风大队，1981年恢复禄围大队之名，1986年村委会成立。[2]

地理与河涌[edit]

禄围涌从村东流向村西，最终经水闸汇入西江磨刀门水道，河面宽约16米，全长约1.7千米。[1]

村西临西江，村内河网交错，民居沿河两岸呈带状分布。旧时渔民常在村边搭棚卖鱼，所以村又名鱼寮。[1]

经济[edit]

养殖南美白对虾是村里经济的主体，耕地4600亩。[2]

截至2012年，村内修建农路约8公里。[2]

2012年底，村里户籍登记2501人、539户，农业人口2459人。[3]
