湖洲村位于板芙镇东北部，东侧与五桂山相接，西面临石岐河。105国道、芙中路与滨江路穿村而过。全村面积约4.3平方千米，2024年户籍人口2419人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，清雍正四年（1726年）前后，刘姓一支来此开村，名为大环村，此后陆续有他姓迁入。[1]

1986年设立村委会，1996年改为管理区，1998年复设村委会。[2]

村落与人口[edit]

村内自然村数目两处记载不一：博雅地名网称共6个，百度百科称5个。[3][1]

截至2013年底，全村户籍人口2259人，共524户，其中男性1065人、女性1194人。[3]

博雅地名网记村中耕地约617.76亩，已将各小组的地块发包出去，经营以花木为主，兼有菜田与鱼塘。[2]

经济与收入[edit]

村集体收入在2024年超过200万元，增收的途径是光伏建设与工业园改造。[1]

2013年，村民平均收入20165元。村民的收入主要来自出租屋和厂企务工，村里有一间约1600平方米的工业厂房出租，另有幼儿园出租。[3]

阜峰文笔是古香山八景之一，其位置在湖洲山。[1]

村里的湖洲山公园供人休闲。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，湖洲村列入2018年广东省民主法治示范村创建单位名单。[2]
