古鹤村位于三乡镇南端，是连接珠海市的南大门，村域面积约5.6平方千米，是中山市的侨乡之一。这里有近八百年的历史，村名的来由是古时山林中常有白鹤栖息。博雅地名网记村域面积为5.6平方千米，百度百科记为5.91平方千米。[1][2][4]
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网记载，元顺帝年间（1333～1334年）已以“古鹤”为村名；百度百科则记形成年代为清顺治十六年（1659年）。两种说法并存。[1][4]
1951年，此地属第五区康济乡；1953年后改属鹤湾乡，1957年称鹤湾村，1961年设古鹤生产大队。1986年设古鹤村委会，1998年复称古鹤村委会，沿用至今。[3]
人口民族[edit]
百度百科记2015年户籍人口为1220人。博雅地名网另载，村中常住1172人，外来人口8000多人，旅居海外及港澳的侨胞与同胞超过3000人，统计年份未注明。[1][4]
经济[edit]
2012年全村总收入为1850.75万元。村民人均年分配额已超过一万元，村内又有大型古旧家具市场。[1][4]
名胜古迹[edit]
乐善好施牌坊位于村内，建于清光绪八年（1882年），为四柱三间三楼的花岗岩石牌坊，高约8米，表彰乡人郑有庸捐资赈济的善举。2019年被列为广东省文物保护单位。[5]
日东祠建于清光绪七年（1881年），由郑有庸家族捐资修建，2009年被列为中山市文物保护单位。村中还有清代的4条石板街，总长约1800米。[6][7]
